Safe since day one

Being safe and extremely sanitary have always been priorities of Nails & Faces of Joy Spa (NFOJ) since day one. But in light of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, going to a safe salon, safe spa, safe nail technician and safe nail establishment is now on the minds of every person in the world—that’s everyone who’s ever considered personal care services. So, since being safe, and sanitary have always been a part of how we do business, let us share with you some of our heightened procedures and standard-operating procedures that keep you, and us, safe.

We provide safety equipment

We are an exclusively mobile spa, so we provide all the equipment, tools, and products needed, even extension cords, to perform your service. We need you to just find your favorite place to sit and be relatively close to a plug. We have our own seats and if needed massage tables for all of our manicures/pedicures/lash/esthetic/massages/hair services. We care about what we do and keep your safety and best interest in mind for all services, consultations, and when making recommendations.

Support during covid-19

We are a small business, a woman-owned enterprise with a family. Your support of us helps to keep our families and communities thriving—especially during these trying times.

Step 1.

We require all clients to fill out intake forms as a part of our initial consultation. Upon our arrival, we wear booties, masks, shields, and wash our hands.

Step 2.

We use one-time-use pedicure liners within our pedicure basins, one-time-use tools, and we place a mat to protect your carpet or floor covering from water.

Step 3.

At each reservation, the products we plan to use on each client are placed in disposable mini cups with lids—to prevent double-dipping into larger containers, reaching for products.

Step 4.

We wash all metal implements with soap and warm water. We soak the impalements in a hospital-grade, EPA-registered disinfectant for the required amount of time, and when available, an auto-clave to kill all living micro-organisms and sterilize tools.

Step 5.

We throw away disposables or give them to the client to have.
